GOALIE WOES CONTINUE

RANGERS-CANADIENS PREVIEW - round 3 game 2

Canadien goalie Carey Price is reported as being day-to-day and we do not know whether he will start again the rangers on Monday's game 2. He sustained an apparent right-leg injury when Ranger forward Chris Kreider crashed into him early in the second period. He continued to play out the period but did not return in the 3rd. He skated a little today but Budaj and Dustin Tokarski  were in goal at practice. Goalie injuries have plagued the playoffs and definately contributed to the demise of the ducks, the wild & the lightning.  Tokarski was orginally drafted by the lightning but has only played in 5 games.

Other injuries include ranger Derick Brassard (undisclosed) is day-to-day, according to Vigneault. He left Game 1 and did not return after he was knocked to the ice on a hit by Montreal defenseman Mike Weaver at 3:05 of the first period.. Canadiens forward Alex Galchenyuk (knee) is day-to-day. He has not played since April 9 but was cleared for contact last week and has been practicing.

Here are some pics from game 1
