DUCKS - center Ryan Getzlaf leads the team with 9 points (3G,6A) but the real story here
continues to be the goalies. both Jonas Hiller & Frederik Andersen have had playing time in the post season. Andersen with 6 starts (GAA 3.40) and Hiller with 1 starts (but played in 3 games) GAA 1.59 but you can't really put much stock in that stat for Hiller because of the few number of games played. If they don't get it together, they're going to suffer the same fate as the tampa bay lightning who lost their premiere goals, ben bishop, just before the playoffs.
King Gaborik will be holding court tonight!
But Ryan Getzlaf requests an audience!
Goalie Grief continues for the ducks
who's gonna be smiling at the end of the game?
EASTERN EXCHANGE
PENGUINS v RANGERS
RANGERS RESTRICTED - the ranger goals are spread throught the team with lots of players scoring, but the leader is Brad Richards with 7 points (3G 4A). Killers for the rangers - powerplay. they have had 21 road PPG opportunities with 0 points (only 3 points out of 16 home PPG ops). that puts them at the bottom of the list with...well those teams that are already OUT of the playoffs. special teams have to step it up.
PENGUINS FLOWER-POWER - ok marc andre was definately ON last night, but where will he be tonight? he's inconsistent but seems to get the job done. Sidney Crosby continues to be in a ...dare we say drought... still have zero goals in the post season. Geno Malkin has definately picked up the slack and is in the top 5 in the league in points for the playoffs. JUSSI JOKINEN put the game out of reach with the EN last night and is poised to be a high-impact player in this round.
Jussi's not jokin/ he's serious about winning the cup.
How did i never post pics of brad richards before???
